BREAKING NEWS- FIRST TOURNAMENT ON A NEW BODY OF WATER!!!!!!!

That’s right. On August 29th of this year I will be hosting the 1st Annual World Shooting Complex Bass Fish Off sponsored by 17th St. Bar and Grill on East Lake in Sparta, Illinois at the World Shooting Complex. This will be the first tournament ever held on this lake. The lake has been only open to the public for a few years now and the fishing is spectacular. Just a little bit about the lake. This is an old strip mine lake that is 117 acres in size. It is loaded with largemouth and smallmouth bass. For this tournament only we will be allowed to weigh in five bass fourteen inches in length. The maximum number of boats will be 35. The entry fee will be $100.00 plus $10.00 big bass. Here is the deal. All fish must be catch and release only and all boats must have an aerated livewell. The other this is this lake is a 10 horse power limit but you can use your big bass boat with the trolling motor only and since the lake is only 117 acres many will opt to fish out of their big boat. There will be several ways to obtain an entry form. One will be through 7/24Outdoors.com, www.reellifeoutdoors.com, 17th St. Bar and Grill in Murphysboro and in Sparta, or through me. Please know that I am only taking the first 35 boats that register. No exceptions. This will be a 90% payback event and there will be free beer and bbq at the weigh in for the fishermen.
