I was introduced to the sport of bass fishing at a very young age by my father. I started fishing bass tournaments at the age of fifteen and have continued ever since. I plan on fishing the B.A.S.S. Southern & Central Opens in 2008 in hopes of qualifying for the Bassmaster Classic and the Elite Series. I presently write for two outdoor magazines, River Country Outdoors and 724 Outdoors. In addition to fishing and writing for magazines, I host one of the largest bass tournaments on my home lake every year (17th Street Bar & Grill Open Bass Fish Off). My wife Heidi and I have been married for 12 years and we have two beautiful little girls that love to fish. Bass fishing has been my passion ever since I was little. I hold myself to the highest standards and hope that young fishermen and women can learn from my example.
3 basic things
I believe that a person can accomplish any goal they set for themselves if they use this three step process.
1. Have the right attitude or mindset!
2. Believing in yourself!
3. Most importantly is understanding that God will give you what you "need" and not necessarily what you "want".
